Location
St. Gilgen
St. Gilgen is a picturesque village in the Salzkammergut region of Austria, located on the shore of Lake Wolfgangsee near Salzburg.
The closest airports are: Salzburg (45 mins by car), Munich (2 h by car), Vienna (3 h by car).
Our Friday and a part of Saturday events will take place in this village, so for the sake of easy accessibility on foot we recommend staying here!
Also, if you can combine attending our wedding with a little holiday and stay a bit longer, we recommend exploring the area around and visitting such places as St. Wolfgang, Gmunden, Hallstatt, and combining it with swimming in the lakes and hiking or biking in the surrounding mountains!
Ansitz Wartenfels
Our wedding venue for the Saturday celebration,
15 mins drive from St. Gilgen village.
To get there we will organize a shuttle bus for our guests departing from St Gilgen church at around 16:00 right after the church ceremony.
Starting from midnight and until the the last party animal alive, there will be taxi and shuttle buses on standby to take our guests to their hotels.
You are also welcome to arrive to the location with your own car, the address is:
